Our History

Hennderson Films one of the oldest independent film production, sales, and financing companies in the entertainment business was founded in 1933 by its Chairman and CEO Ignatius J. Hennderson, heir to the vast Hennderson fortune. Originally known for their Picture Box Spectaculars which drew crowds that included famed mugmouth Roland Bugsworth, alongside many beautiful starlets, and prominent investors such as the legendary Miko Wasser, HF quickly expanded to include big budget pictures helmed by such early Hollywood visionaries as Frank Laufter, W.T. Bolano, & master pictorialist Herb Meiser.
